Start a Fileshare Server to service the file requests. We will be creating a server called JSRV01. For teaching purposes, we will be running this in foreground so that we can view tracing information from the server process as each client connects. For this reason, you will want to perform these steps in a separate window.
set CCITCP2=hostname
where hostname is the TCP hostname or dotted-decimal IP address of the machine running the CCITCP2 daemon you wish to contact from that session.
For more information, see chapter CCITCP Configuration of the Configuring CCI documentation.
fs –s JSRV01
You will see a message about Fileshare Server starting and the protocol being used.
