With Direct printing, you can print both unlimited characters per line, and graphic data streams without interpretation by the printer driver. Host data is translated from EBCDIC to ASCII and sent directly to the printer, bypassing the printer driver.

Note: When Direct printing is active, print preview does not work. The print job goes to the printer without any preview.
