ODBC data type

An SQL definition that governs the type of data that is valid for a column in a relational table. The following lists the data type names preassigned to ODBC data types in Relativity:

• Exact numeric data types are bit, smallint, integer, and decimal.
• Approximate numeric data types are single and double.
• Character (or text) data types are char, varchar, and longvarchar.
• Unstructured binary data type is longvarbinary.
• Date/time data types are date, time, and timestamp.
