- In the
Catalog Explorer pane, expand the
User Groups and Users node.
- Double-click any group within the node.
The
Privileges tab for the selected group is displayed.
- Select the
Users tab.
The database groups defined for the current catalog (except the owner group) are displayed in the Group Name column.
- For each group, select the appropriate tick-boxes (Create Users or
With Grant) for each of the groups, or leave the tick-boxes clear so that the group is unable to create users.
Note: Selecting these options allow the group selected in step 2 the ability to create users in the other groups in the database
(shown in step 3). The
With Grant option enables group members to also grant or revoke the privilege of creating users for other groups.
- Click
Save to Catalog to save the changes; alternatively, click
Revert to revert back to the last available saved privileges.
