When set to TRUE (ON, YES, 1), this configuration variable causes ACUCOBOL-GT to attempt to call the Btrieve server whenever ACUCOBOL-GT starts. When set to the default FALSE (OFF, NO, 0), the Btrieve server is assumed to be running, and no call is made. Note that failed communication with the server could result if the server is not running when communication attempts are made. The default is FALSE.
