COLOR_MODEL Settings 7 and 8

COLOR_MODEL settings 7 and 8 eliminate intensity altogether. The default colors are shown as black-on-white.

These are the settings that most closely match typical Windows programs. If you combine COLOR_MODEL 7 with the MONOCHROME configuration variable (which causes colors to be ignored), you will have an entirely black-on-white application (except for reverse, which appears as white-on-gray).

Equivalent Settings

COLOR_MODEL 7 is equivalent to COLOR_TRANS 3, INTENSITY_FLAGS 161.

COLOR_MODEL 8 is equivalent to COLOR_TRANS 1, INTENSITY_FLAGS 161.
