For large networks, you can help to optimize performance by obtaining a multiple-server license for AcuServer. This license
enables you to start two or more instances of the acuserve daemon or service on the same server machine simultaneously. This
gives you two options to help you balance the network load:
- You can assign each client runtime to a specific instance of the daemon.
- You can designate one instance of the acuserve daemon as a master (primary) server, which distributes the load among multiple
additional instances of the daemon (secondary servers). This process is described in ACUSERVER_MASTER_SERVER.
