XML Extensions - Scalable Vector Graphics Widget Applets

You may use Xcentrisity BIS to return SVG widgets to a browser dashboard mashup. SVG has an assigned MIME type, so the appropriate ContentType tag is {{ContentType image/svg+xml}}. To set up this applet, use or create a directory served by BIS for the gauge applet, and copy the following files to that directory:

• cblconfig.txt
• drawgauge.xsl
• gaugeApplet.acu
• gaugeApplet.srf
• and trignm.xsl (see the Gauge topic for instructions on obtaining trignm.xsl.)

Then, fetch the applet via the .srf file. For example, if the applet is installed in a directory named gauge in the samples directory, you would direct the browser to http://localhost/acuxbis/samples/gauge/gaugeapplet.srf.
