Create Deletion Statements
Complete the values listed in the Secondary Options window for the Import Combined Data Elements Information Create Deletion Statements job as shown below:
- Group
- The group for which you want to create deletion statements.
- Method
- The method for which you want to create deletion statements.
- From step
- The first step in a range of steps defined in conjunction with the To step parameter.
- To step
- The last step in a range of steps defined in conjunction with the From step parameter.
- Discard Unchanged Files
- From the deletion statements, discard all DB2 tables belonging to the current method that are neither reduced nor masked.
- JCL output data set
- The library where generated SQL statements are stored.
- JCL output member
- The member in which generated SQL statements are stored.
- Target DB2 owner
- The owner of the target environment where the statement is to run.
Important: Before executing the generated DDL:
- Execute a method simulation.
- Copy the ANENVLST table of the knowledge base into the target environment.
