To export a region from ESCWA

You can export the definition of a single or multiple regions from ESCWA into a specified file format, JSON or XML.

You can then transfer the file to other machines and import the region definition file into other instances of Enterprise Server or ESCWA.

To export a single or multiple regions:

  1. On the CHOOSE EXPORT TYPE page, check the export file type required and then click NEXT.
  2. On the SELECT REGIONS page, check the region or regions that you want to export and then click NEXT.
  3. On the SECURITY OPTIONS page, check the security options that you want to export.
    Note: Their corresponding security managers will be included in the exported file.
  4. Click NEXT.
  5. On the REVIEW AND DOWNLOAD page, you can review the regions and components that you have selected to export.
    • If you need to change any of the selected options, click BACK and modify your selection.
    • If the selected options meet your requirements, click DOWNLOAD.
  6. Click FINISH to export the definition file to your browser's download directory.
