Restricting ES for .NET with ESF

Security managers and security configurations for ES for .NET are configured separately from those used by other Enterprise Server components. Use the ES for .NET MMC snap-in to create and administer security managers and security configurations for ES for .NET.

To restrict ES for .NET with ESF:

1. Open the seeadminserver.exe.config configuration file in an editor. The configuration file is located in the product under binAnyCPU\SEE.
2. Uncomment the <security> XML element and change as required.
3. You can then set a security configuration and stack of security managers as required.
