The default protocol for Fileshare over CCI is TCP/IP (CCITCP). For Fileshare clients and servers on Windows platforms, you can also use the Named Shared Memory protocol (CCISM). Use the CCI.INI configuration file on the Fileshare client to specify which protocol to use for which Fileshare server.
/cm ccism
/cm ccism /s server1The Fileshare Client uses CCISM for communicating with the Fileshare Server named server1, whilst using the default protocol (CCITCP) for other servers.
If you are using the TCP/IP protocol, you do not need to specify it in a CCI.INI configuration file.
