Audit event information is generated by SEPs, and by Micro Focus Directory Server (MFDS).
- On a SEP, an Audit Manager process collects the audit events.
- A Micro Focus Directory Server (MFDS) generates audit events and forwards these to the the system's Inter-Process Communications
(IPC).
The IPC sends the audit events to the Audit Manager.
The Audit Manager's event consolidator process combines these events, and the Audit event emitter or emitters output them,
either to a secure file, or as SNMP events.
