To view floating-point registers

  1. From the Assembler debug window, press R (Reg) for a window to appear, containing four choices.
  2. Press 3, for Floating Point Display.
Note: The floating-point registers are displayed on line 21. Repeating this task hides the floating-point registers.

If the OS/390 general-purpose registers are being displayed, you see the four OS/390 floating-point registers. If the zSeries general-purpose registers are being displayed, you see the sixteen zSeries floating-point registers.

The floating-point registers are always displayed in IBM double-precision IBM hexadecimal format regardless of the actual precision or the actual type of format (IBM or IEEE).
